Educator Resource Kits

The Museum encourages qualifying groups to borrow Teacher Resource Boxes (TRB). These kits, arranged in easy to handle plastic totes, contain a variety of curriculum enhancing materials including reproduction artifacts, music CDs, books to craft ideas and are ideally suited to compliment a Museum visit. You can check out a TRB for up to two (2) weeks prior to or following a scheduled tour.

Outreach Programs

A visit to Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum, where you can see over 1,000 Native American artifacts, is a mind-expanding experience.  However, if you are unable to make the trip, the Museum can come to you (with items from our Educational Collection) for presentations in classrooms, libraries, summer camps and other public venues.  Hands-on crafts are also available for smaller groups. Call the Museum to discuss details and your particular curriculum needs or topics. Outreach programs are available year-round.
