& outdoor fun for kids!

Turtle Island Day Camp invites children, ages 6-14, to experience Native American cultures through hands-on activities, traditional games, and thematic explorations. Each one-week session focuses on different aspects of American Indian life, from both historical and current perspectives. Presentations by Native American tradition-bearers, and other experts augment the curriculum developed by the MKIM staff. The camp is licensed through the State of New Hampshire.

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 9 am – 3 pm
Extended care: 8 am – 9 am & 3 pm – 5 pm (additional fee)

Fees
Weekly sessions: $125 MKIM member; $165 non-member         Extended care by session:
morning = $10 MKIM member; $15 non-member
afternoon = $45 MKIM member; $55 non-member
hourly as needed $5 MKIM member; $6 non-member

Discounts
Multi-session – take 10% off additional sessions after initial enrollment at full price.
Family – 10% off each additional child, after initial enrollment at full price.
Discounts cannot be combined.

Financial Aid
Campership funds are available on a limited, first come, first served basis for up to 50% of the camp fee.  Call 603-456-3244 to receive an application form.

Facilities
A program barn provides shelter. The museum galleries enhance educational opportunities. Over ten acres of fields and forest, including the Medicine Woods Nature Trail, enable outdoor discovery. Adjacent town conservation land is available for extended exploration.
