Probably Huron made about 1875. Made for sale to non-Native community members. Native youth were taught a variety of "domestic" skills aimed at diminishing the knowledge of, and reliance on traditional arts. Silk thread embroidery was adapted to Native materials like moose hair and birch bark, while reflecting traditional designs.
